TNO will speak about innovative food processing technologies

in the seminar session 3, Digital Gastronomy.
The presentation will be given by Kjeld van Bommel, PhD, TNO Technical Sciences / Food Processing

TNO has been active in the field of Additive Manufacturing (AM) for many years. Over the past years technologies from that field have been investigated for their applicability in the area of food processing.

This has already led to innovative technologies for the production of high quality powders and microcapsules. Current and future research is focused on the production of other food structures and ultimately entire 3D food products.

This presentation will give an overview of the various technologies and TNO’s plans for the future.
