3D-printed house that looks like a traditional home

DUS Public Architecture in Amsterdam is set to develop and create a whole house using a giant 3D printer. (VIDEO)

The printer is a custom-built KamerMaker that is housed inside a shipping container.

The large-scale printer is situated where the house plans to be: by the canal in Amsterdam. DUS hopes that the first room can be completed by the end of 2013. The 3D-printed house will also have an eco-friendly concept as the rooms will be printed using sustainable materials like bioplastics, and potato starch.
