OctaWorm-Pneumatic robot is constructed using pneumatic linear actuators in combination with 3D printed parts. Control is embedded in a host Arduino board. This research is being conducted as a joint collaboration between the University of Chile and the University of Akron. We thank funding from Romich Foundation.
This video shows recent results on the development of a deformable robot which is capable of traveling inside confined spaces such as pipelines.
