Colored 3D prints are the coolest, but they’re often not the most resistant over time. We’re launching a new grey plastic to take care of that. Thanks to some science and a lot of tests, we’re now able to offer you a 3D printed plastic that is grey throughout the material. Continue reading “Sculpteo Introduces New Grey Plastic Material”
New Device Turns Plastic Into 3D-Printing Material
Researchers have developed a new desktop device that quickly turns plastic waste into raw material needed for 3D printing. Called ProtoCycler, the machine can grind plastic, such as pop bottles and Lego, and melt it into a filament that can be fed into 3D printers. Continue reading “New Device Turns Plastic Into 3D-Printing Material”
Recycled plastic filament for 3D printers is here
We love 3D printing for how it can make manufacturing highly customizable and localized. The devices, plus design software, let us imagine something and then build it with a much lighter footprint than buying something that was mass produced far away. Continue reading “Recycled plastic filament for 3D printers is here”
