The ‘eco system’ approach from materials – printer – to post processing (part one) – Nirali Surati, DSM

Nirali Surati, DSM, will speak at 3D Printing Materials Conference on April 16, during the 3D Printing Event at Brightlands Chemelot Campus in The Netherlands.

This is a two-part presentation in partnership with AMT.

The ‘eco system’ approach from materials – printer – to post processing (part one) presented by DSM
The ‘eco system’ approach from materials – printer – to post processing (part two) presented by AMT

The Additive Manufacturing landscape today consists of several moving parts such as materials, machines, software, post processing technologies etc. that all need to work in harmony to ensure a positive experience for users. Varied stakeholders in the industry cater to each of these moving parts forming the ecosystem of additive manufacturing. These seemingly disconnected steps have a broad influence on the additive manufacturing experience and hence its wider adoption. The presentations talk about how DSM and AMT are working on these challenges with a combined eco-system approach.

Hirtenberger

3D Printing Event welcomes Hirtenberger Engineered Surfaces as Gold Sponsor

About Hirtenberger

Hirtenberger Engineered Surfaces is an E2E process provider and technical partner for innovative functional metallic surfaces. Based on extensive research and many years of development work, we offer smart production processes for electrochemical surface finishing that go beyond the limitations of state of the art galvanic coatings. We specifically developed our Hirtisation® process for the post-treatment of 3D printed metal parts. Without any mechanical process steps, Hirtisation® is capable of removing partially melted particles and support structures as well as levelling and polishing the surface. Hirtisation® is applicable for all alloys typically used in Aerospace like Ti, Al and Inconel.
