Prof. Dr. Javad Zarbakhsh of Carinthia University of Applied Science – CUAS, presents at the 3D Printing Materials Conference: “3D Printing Material Modeling and Simulation: from Macroscopic to Atomistic level”. 

Prof. Dr. Javad Zarbakhsh will give an overview of state of the art processes and materials used in 3D printing will be presented. Characteristics of the materials and material selection criteria will be compared. Relevant simulation and modeling tools will be presented. Test cases will be shown that included Microscopic and atomistic simulations, Mutltiscale and multiphysics simulation, Finite Element Thermal, Structural and Vibration analyses. Future research and innovation topics for researchers and entrepreneurs, together with general trends and few innovative ideas will be introduced.

Prof. Javad Zarbakhsh, is Professor at Carinthia Univeristy of Applied Science; Consultant, Speaker and Expert of Computational Engineering, 3D Printing, and Multidisciplinary Innovation. He is author of 20+ patents and scientific journal papers. He is the Austrian Deligation in European Cooperation in Science and Technology, COST MNP&ICT, and Member of EU Value4Nano for 3D Printing Roadmap development.
